Last month I drew some street scenes in Leeds and realised I feel much more creative at Assembly House. Maybe it's because everyone here is so friendly :)

One of my favourite moments in early August was after our trip to the Hepworth in Wakefield, when we all stretched our legs by the museum gate together.

When I first moved to Leeds in the winter, Asshaus happened to be hosting a Halloween party. I dropped by for a bit, and the vibe was unbelievably good. So when I saw a studio space become available, I applied immediately!

This place is so welcoming and friendly, with a diverse community of artists all focused on their own practices. It’s the kind of space that’s hard to come by after art uni.
