Passing Through Margins

Through perforated edges, deep cavities and the densely archival, eight artists

from the University of Leeds explore their intimate relationships with the

between space. The multimedia response includes marks scratched into

surfaces, ruptured hessian forms, and the perceptual field skewed by video

and alternate reality. Sculpture in conversation with photography and drawing

create an environment of intangibility, displacement and fluctuation. Key in

the development of the work has been our passing through margins, exploring

where our boundaries are crossed.
